Infoway launches contest for public health organizations
February 19, 2014
TORONTO – Building on the success of previous ImagineNation Challenges, Canada Health Infoway is pleased to announce the Public Health Social Media Challenge. The new Challenge seeks to inspire public health organizations to use social media initiatives in creative and innovative ways.
Social media tools have the potential to improve reach, increase engagement, and provide tailored experiences for individuals and communities. Go viral with your message and share your results!
The Challenge opens on February 26 and will run until September 30. There is more than $70,000 available in awards. Teams that participate in the Challenge have the option of receiving feedback from an expert forum, which they can use to improve their initiative. When the Challenge period concludes, a panel of judges will determine the initiatives that will receive awards for effectiveness and innovation.
As an added incentive, join by March 26, 2014 for a chance to receive one of three awards of $1,000 in the Early Participation Incentive draw.
