London Drugs implements DigitalPersona for sign-on
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – DigitalPersona, Inc., a provider of fingerprint
authentication solutions, announced that London Drugs, a Canadian-based
retailer, has selected DigitalPersona’s enterprise solution for
improving employee password management.
DigtalPersona Pro will provide London Drugs’ employees the ability to
sign-on to the corporate network with just a touch of the finger,
reducing the cost, time and effort associated with password resets and
other IT management issues. Employees will gain simple secure access to
the network and applications while enhancing user productivity.
“London Drugs employs over 7,000 people and operates 62 stores across
British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In order to
consistently deliver the best possible shopping experience to our
customers, we need to be highly efficient,” said Nick Curalli, General
Manager of Information Technology, London Drugs.
“DigitalPersona’s one-step fingerprint authentication solution protects
our corporate network and allows our employees to focus on business
processes and productivity, not passwords.”

store passwords and set policies for groups of users, while the
workstation client software and fingerprint reader rapidly enable
employees to log on to the network and various applications. As a
result, DigitalPersona Pro creates a more convenient and secure
environment for London Drugs.
“London Drugs’ use of DigitalPersona Pro demonstrates the business value
of our secure, fast and practical fingerprint authentication solution,”
said Vance Bjorn, chief technology officer, DigitalPersona, Inc. “London
