Distinguished service awardees named
for telehealth
The Canadian
Telehealth Forum of COACH: Canada’s Health Informatics Association is
pleased to announce the 2010 winners of the National Telehealth
Coordinator Distinguished Service Award. The award recognizes
significant contributions to Canadian telehealth, Canadian Telehealth
Forum (formerly the Canadian Society of Telehealth) and the National
Telehealth Coordinators Special Interest Group.
This year, two individuals were honoured: Krista Anderson, Tri-District
Telehealth Coordinator for the Nova Scotia Telehealth Network, and
Valerie Sutherland, Telemedicine Coordinator for the Sunnybrook Health
Sciences Centre. The awards were presented at the 2010 e-Health
Conference by Mark Ahrens-Townsend, Executive Vice President Business
Development for Librestream, and Dr. Trevor Cradduck, President of the
Keston Group, whose organizations generously sponsor the award.
