Jim Stewart moves to 3M’s supply chain
business
MISSISSAUGA,
Ont. – 3M Canada Co. has announced the appointment of
Jim Stewart
(pictured at left) to the position of Business Development
Manager for its 3M Supply Chain Solutions unit in Canada.
Stewart will have responsibility for a variety of industrial sectors,
including hospitals and healthcare. He will work with customers in these
sectors to improve their supply chain operations using 3M’s advanced
solutions, which are powered by 3M HighJump software.
To date, there are over 700 implementations of HighJump (3M HJS)
offerings around the world, including some of the most demanding and
complex business environments, the company said.
HighJump’s RFID technology-enabled product suite includes advanced,
integrated solutions for supply chain; trading partner enablement/collaboration;
and automated data collection.
HighJump’s solutions are said to combine rich functionality, a proven
implementation methodology, adaptability and fast upgrades to empower
customers with the industry’s lowest total cost of ownership – a value

For his part, Stewart moves into his new position after leading the 3M
Health Information Systems business team for the past five years.
During his tenure with 3M Health Information Systems, he guided the
business unit to a leading position in Canadian health informatics. 3M
HIS provides expert software systems and services to healthcare
organizations across the country.
