France sets up facility certification
system
PARIS, France – Atos Worldline, an
Atos Origin Company, announced the signing of a contract with the French
Superior Health Authority to ensure the implementation and hosting of an
information system dedicated to the certification of health
establishments across France.
As part of its mission to improve the quality of healthcare, the
Superior Health Authority (HAS) has decided to establish a platform
dedicated to the certification of healthcare facilities.
The HAS turned to Atos Worldline for the design, development, operation
and hosting of its SARA project. The SARA project is a collaborative
tool that aims at optimising and industrialising the processes involved
in the certification of healthcare facilities.
The secure technical platform will enable healthcare establishments to
enter their self-assessments and help mandated auditors to draw up their
assessment reports. These documents will then be managed and maintained
by SARA. A real one-stop shop for healthcare establishments, the
platform will optimise the way reports currently function and thereby
optimize their quality. Under the framework of healthcare reform, SARA
will also be accessible to the ARH (Regional Hospitalisation Agencies).
In order to implement its project, the French Superior Health Authority
was looking for a partner able to provide a flexible, open and
interoperable service platform meeting demanding targets in terms of
usability and performance.
“We selected Atos Worldline for its understanding of the project issues,
its capacity to provide a comprehensive customised service and for the
expertise of the teams made available to us to implement this
wide-ranging project,” explained Mr. Antoine Vigneron, CIO of the
Superior Health Authority.
Atos Worldline is also assisting the HAS in deploying the SARA project
by providing a comprehensive communication and training process. The
objective of this assistance programme is to ensure that users are
familiar with the tool.
