Canadian Healthcare Technology is written and edited by a team of
experienced business journalists, computer and healthcare consultants.

Our regular contributors include:
Jerry Zeidenberg, Publisher and Editor
With
over 20 years in professional journalism, Jerry has previously worked as a Globe and Mail
business columnist, features editor of Profit magazine, reporter with Computing Canada and
editor-in-chief of Technology in Government magazine. He organized the launch of Canadian
Healthcare Technology in 1996.
Issie Rabinovitch, PhD, CHT columnist, and editor,
Technology for Doctors
Issie
Rabinovitch received a B.Sc. from McGill University and a Ph.D. from
Dartmouth College, both in Mathematics. After an academic career at
universities in Canada and the U.S. and a decade spent working in large
organizations in Montreal and Toronto, he started IR TechnoGroup, a
small computer consulting firm. He provides technology advice and
services for a variety of businesses, some large but most small. He is a
columnist for Canadian Healthcare Technology and CA Magazine, and the
editor of Technology for Doctors.
Dr. Alan Brookstone, CHT columnist
Dr. Alan
Brookstone is a practice efficiency consultant and family physician in Richmond, British
Columbia. Dr. Brookstone writes extensively on practice management and
technology and regularly speaks to groups of physicians, health
organizations and corporations on technology and the opportunities
presented through e-delivery of health care services
Andy Shaw, CHT news and features writer
Andy's previous
experience includes over 30 years as a CBC-TV and Radio reporter. He was a member of the
Parliamentary press gallery in Ottawa for 20 years, and was Ottawa correspondent for
Technology in Government magazine. Now based in the Toronto area, he concentrates on
information technology writing and reporting. He recently wrote scripts for a 13-part
television series sponsored by AT&T on the future of technology that
appeared on CTV and Canada AM.
