Operating on Bell’s new HSPA+ high-speed wireless network, it also
offers access to Bell Mobility services such as Mobile TV, radio, Video
Call, GPS Navigator, and Remote PVR.
Other features:
• Android 2.1: Access to more than 60,000 apps from Android Market as
well as optimized speed, improved virtual keypad, additional home
screens, and the full support of the Google Mobile Services including
Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk.
• High-end screen: The 4-inch Super AMOLED provides users with
unrivalled picture clarity - even in harsh lighting conditions and
direct sunlight - to make playing games, viewing movies and photos
clearer and less reflective. Thumb print smudges are a thing of the past
thanks to anti-smudge technology.
• 1GHz Processor: The powerful 1GHz processor allows users to surf, play
and share with speed, keeping them fully connected anywhere and at
anytime. Outfitted with 3D sound capabilities, users are offered
surround-sound stereo quality - even when listening on hard-wired
headphones.
• Social Hub: Simple, organized and integrated social networking thanks
to automatic status updates, social network site content aggregation,
real-time push notification and a customizable, threaded view of email,
IM and SMS.
• Six-axis sensor: Combining the smartphone’s accelerometer and
gyroscope to provide a smooth, fluid gaming experience when the user is
tilting the device up or down or panning the phone to the left or right.
It also supports advanced touch screen gesture capabilities including
multi-touch pinch, long tap and zoom and vertical and horizontal swiping
for easier and quicker access to many applications.
• TouchWiz 3.0 user interface: A tactile, intuitive user experience that
includes iconic new features such as motion UI, Smart Unlock and a
customizable widget screen.
• All Share: Enables inter-device connectivity through the Digital
Living Network Alliance (DLNA), allowing clients to send video content
wirelessly to other DLNA-enabled devices, such as TV’s, monitors and
computers.
• Swype technology: Combined with a QWERTY keypad, users can input text
faster and in a more intuitive way with one continuous finger motion
across the screen keyboard.
