Health IT leaders and innovators honoured

VANCOUVER – The Canadian Health Informatics Awards Gala (CHIA) shone the light on the leaders, innovators and visionaries who are reimagining healthcare delivery in Canada.
The success stories ranged from a leader who has been instrumental in building a high-quality workforce in Canadian health informatics, to a telehealth project that is supporting a virtual care network for 45 First Nations communities in British Columbia.

An impartial Adjudication Committee, comprised of leaders in the HI profession, evaluates all nominations and scholarship applications and chooses the award recipient(s). The Gala was held as part of the e-Health 2016 Conference.
