Dapasoft wins 2021 Healthcare Impact Award

July 21, 2021

Mike LonswayTORONTO – Microsoft Canada has recognized Dapasoft, a Calian company, with the 2021 Healthcare Impact Award. Dapasoft was selected for Corolar Virtual Care (CVC), an integrated virtual care and patient engagement solution adopted by five healthcare networks serving more than five million people in British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick.

The annual IMPACT Awards recognize Microsoft partners who focus on bettering the lives of Canadians and demonstrate excellence in delivering customer-focused solutions based on Microsoft technology. This is the third consecutive win for Dapasoft solutions.

“We’re honoured to win the Healthcare Impact Award, especially during a global pandemic when rapid innovation has been so critical for our customers,” said Michael Lonsway (pictured), president, Dapasoft. “With Corolar Virtual Care, we extended the rich base of Microsoft communication and collaboration tools to help hospitals significantly improve patient engagement and clinic performance.”

He added, “Our clients were able to quickly introduce virtual care models with robust features such as virtual waiting rooms, on-demand notifications and queuing technology that cut down on missed appointments and patient wait-times.”

Microsoft Canada presented the awards on July 15 as part of their virtual Inspire conference. Winners were selected based on the outstanding work the companies provided to their customers and community.

“We are pleased to recognize Dapasoft as this year’s recipient of the Healthcare Impact Award,” said Suzanne Gagliese, vice president, global partner solutions, Microsoft Canada. “Amid a challenging year, our partners have demonstrated dedication to innovation and customer excellence by leveraging cutting-edge solutions to solve complex business challenges and overcome disruption.”
