Sunnybrook opts for Quadramed’s patient registration

October 5, 2016

sarina-chengTORONTO – Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre has selected the Harris QuadraMed Computerized Patient Record (QCPR) Clinical Patient Registration solution. QCPR helps organizations provide high-quality and efficient care through a user-friendly interface, efficient data entry workflow, and robust functionality.

Sunnybrook will replace its existing patient registration systems at all three of their sites in Toronto with QCPR.

Sarina Cheng (pictured), director, health records/MyChart program, registration and information services, said that “QuadraMed has the right functionality to support large organizations such as Sunnybrook with complex workflows.

“It also ensures data quality while providing the flexibility to quickly adapt with changing hospital requirements. The hospital patient registration system is a critical part of the hospital, and the right partnership makes a difference.”

Looking forward, Sunnybrook and Harris QuadraMed plan to build on their partnership to ensure that QuadraMed’s advanced capabilities and implementation expertise in the Canadian context are leveraged throughout the transition.

“From the very beginning, this has been a great partnership with Sunnybrook,” said Santina Allen, executive vice president of clinical solutions, Harris QuadraMed. “We are extremely honored to be working with such a prestigious institution, and we know this partnership will drive excellence not only in workflow efficiency, but in future enhancements to our product suite.”

“Harris QuadraMed’s QCPR Clinical Patient Registration solution is a flexible and complete solution making it easy for clients to customize according to their needs,” said Guy Bujold, senior account executive, Harris QuadraMed. “Sunnybrook’s expertise in development and system integration allows them to take a best-of-breed approach in selecting vendors. Sunnybrook worked closely with teams across the hospital to determine what they really wanted and needed in a registration solution.”
