Peterborough patients can access DI records
April 17, 2019
PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Peterborough Regional Health Centre announced that its patients can now access their diagnostic imaging records using the PocketHealth solution.
PRHC is a leading regional hospital delivering acute healthcare to a rapidly-growing population of more than 300,000 in Peterborough and the surrounding communities. PRHC has more than 400 inpatient beds and offers a wide range of services, including specialized programs in renal, stroke, cardiac, cancer care, vascular surgery and mental health and addictions.
PRHC patients can visit pocket.health/PRHC, enroll for online access and receive access to their diagnostic-quality imaging records within minutes.
Once patients receive access, their imaging history from PRHC locations is stored permanently in their account for future access, alongside any other requested imaging records from PocketHealth-enabled clinics/hospitals across North America.
If they wish to share with their specialist or another healthcare facility, they can share their diagnostic-quality (DICOM) imaging via email or fax, printing off a page with a secure link, or even burning their own CD directly from their account.
Meanwhile, their physicians can view the imaging shared with them using a powerful, FDA-certified viewer right from their web browser, without any software required.
Patients can learn more by visiting pocket.health/PRHC, reading through the PocketHealth Patient FAQ or contacting PocketHealth Patient Support at help@pocket.health.
PRHC joins over 500 other hospitals, clinics and mobile imaging sites across North America that have deployed the PocketHealth platform for their patients.
