With a background in computer science and economics he started his career at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre managing system implementations. He also has worked at the Cardiac Care Network of Ontario developing dashboards, scorecards, automated reporting and contributing to research papers. His next role was as senior business analyst and manager of Case Costing at the University Health Network. Peter then moved to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as senior manager of Data Development. He has been at Quinte Health Care for the last 9 years serving as director of Decision Support & Analytics, Health Information Management and Chief Privacy Officer.
