New president and CEO at Hôtel-Dieu Grace

January 5, 2022

Bill MarraWINDSOR, Ont. – On November 1st, the Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare (HDGH) board of directors shared the retirement notice of the president and CEO, Janice Kaffer, as well as the announcement of Bill Marra (pictured) accepting the role of president and CEO. While this transition was anticipated no later than March 31, 2022 and April 1, 2022 respectively, the HDGH board of directors have made the decision to advance the planned transition to January 1, 2022.

This decision was made to facilitate a single leadership voice in managing the Omicron surge and to ensure that the response at HDGH is not subject to any role confusion between an incoming and outgoing CEO.

Over the coming months, Janice will continue to support Bill and the HDGH board of directors in an advisor capacity.

As Bill prepares to step into his new role, he speaks for the entire organization and community when he says that Janice will be missed. Through an open door and determined focus to upload the key values of the organization, there is immense confidence in the leadership HDGH will receive from Bill going forward.
