Breaking the bias: women in the workforce

February 23, 2022

Naomi UyWATERLOO, Ont. – On March 8, 2022, the campaign for International Women’s Day is #BreakTheBias. Join Naomi Uy, Business Consultant and DEI Specialist, as she shares her own personal career journey as an Asian-Canadian female navigating the business world and the systemic biases often faced by women striving for leadership roles both in the public and private sector.

Evolve your knowledge and understanding of bias as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace, in your personal daily interactions, and in the decisions you make.

This webinar will also teach you about fundamental DEI concepts and principles that are critical building blocks for creating a more inclusive workplace and team. Although the session will focus on issues faced by women and gender inequities in the workplace, it will also provide valuable and practical strategies on how to become a better ally and on challenging our own unconscious biases, regardless of gender.
