Campana Systems joins Constellation Software

June 18, 2014

WATERLOO, Ont. – Campana Systems Inc., well-known for its GoldCare community service and long-term care software, announced that it has been acquired by Toronto-based Constellation Software Inc. Constellation is a publicly traded Canadian organization with operations in more than 30 countries, including Canada, the United States and Australia.

Constellation has a business strategy of identifying successful companies in vertical technology markets and growing them over the long term. Their goal is to acquire, manage and build market-leading software businesses that develop mission-critical software solutions.

Paula Hucko (pictured), formerly GoldCare Chief Operating Officer, has been named the new GoldCare President. “Joining Constellation Software is an exciting development for GoldCare,” said Hucko. “This partnership affords GoldCare a depth of infrastructure and collaboration that will ensure our continued success and growth.

“Constellation, being Canadian, only further solidifies GoldCare’s position as a leader in healthcare software in Canada,” she added.
