Allscripts announces new managing director for Canada

VANCOUVER – Allscripts has announced the appointment of Jennifer MacGregor (pictured) as the new Managing Director for its Canadian operations. MacGregor will lead the Allscripts sales, development, professional services teams in the different regions across the country.
Most recently, MacGregor led the Allscripts Professional Services organization across all three regional business teams, where she was responsible for services sales, driving client satisfaction, and creating a consistent methodology throughout the regions.
“Canada is not only my home, but the birth place of Sunrise, our open-platform electronic medical record,” said MacGregor. “I look forward to continuing to provide Canada’s healthcare providers with leading-edge technology to produce world-class outcomes.”
MacGregor began her career with Allscripts in 2005 as a Practice Manager, focusing on computerized physician order entry, outcomes measurement and clinical adoption. Her collaborative leadership enabled a number of clients to successfully implement large scale clinical transformation initiatives.
MacGregor’s career progressed as she led the successful implementation of Allscripts solutions at many client sites as a Program Director. Most recently, MacGregor led the regional services team as Associate Vice President, Professional Services, in both Canada and the western region of the United States, where she had responsibility for ensuring quality outcomes for Allscripts customers.
Prior to Allscripts, MacGregor was a Senior Healthcare Consultant with a consulting firm. She worked with Canadian healthcare organizations to develop HIT strategic plans, facilitating regional healthcare leadership initiatives and implementing client solutions.
MacGregor has both a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences and an MBA from The University of Calgary.
