Allscripts announces Robert Dale as VP, Sales

TORONTO – Robert Dale (pictured) recently joined Allscripts as Vice President of Sales for Canada. Rob is responsible for new business sales in Canada. He will lead a team of executives working closely with acute care hospitals, regional health authorities and the provinces in exploring Allscripts solutions, including Sunrise EHR, dB Motion and the FollowMyHealth Patient Portal.

Rob has more than 20 years of healthcare IT experience in the Canadian market and has held numerous roles, including implementation, project management, operations, and sales management. Rob previously served as Director of Operations at Triple G (GE Healthcare) where he was responsible for the TriWin Laboratory Information Systems business unit, with over 150 Canadian customers.

Prior to Triple G, Rob worked at McKesson Canada, first as a Senior Client Executive with the information systems group responsible for key customers in Ontario. He was then promoted to run McKesson’s Hospital Pharmacy Automation business unit. This Canadian business grew significantly in less than three years and was recently sold by McKesson US to Francisco Partners and launched as Aesynt within that market.
