Queensway Carleton selects new integration engine
March 18, 2015
OTTAWA – Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH) has selected Dapasoft’s Corolar to replace their current integration engine. The Dapasoft product will connect internal, regional, and provincial systems to the hospital’s primary Health Information System (HIS), Meditech 6.0.
The Meditech 6.0 installation at QCH also supports six additional hospitals as part of the Champlain Association of Meditech Partners (CHAMP) initiative.
Dapasoft’s Corolar, built utilizing the power and enterprise robustness of Microsoft BizTalk 2013, will provide QCH and the CHAMP partners with a flexible solution that can be utilized to easily integrate with provincial and regional initiatives for many years into the future.
Servicing a local population of over 400,000 residents, with the help of over 1,900 healthcare professionals, QCH is currently expanding to fit the ever-growing needs of the residents in the Ottawa Valley.
As a partner in delivering healthcare across the Champlain LHIN, QCH requires a solution that can reliably scale to a volume of over 2.5 million messages daily. It is also critical that the integration engine is flexible and adaptable to help support regional growth in the LHIN and respond to current and future provincial integration needs.
