MediSolution and World Software form partnership

August 19, 2015

TORONTO – MediSolution, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harris Computer Systems, announced that it has entered into a partnership with World Software Inc., a privately owned company based in Edmonton. The partnership formalizes a longstanding relationship that has seen the two companies successfully integrate their IT solutions at several hospitals in Ontario.

Under the agreement, MediSolution will take a lead role in the national sales, marketing and distribution of Worldsoft’s technology platform under MediSolution’s Virtuo brand.

“This partnership allows MediSolution to offer our clients more value as part of an integrated ERP solution and better address the evolving management and reporting needs of healthcare administration,” said Michael Conn (pictured), National Sales Director, MediSolution.

“The MediSolution and Worldsoft partnership will create a stronger business partner for our clients and allow MediSolution to continue to expand our healthcare business in Canada,” said Sylvain Gauthier, Executive Vice President, MediSolution.

MediSolution’s Virtuo MIS and Virtuo HCM Suites provide the Canadian healthcare market with solutions that encompass all areas of Finance, HR/Payroll and Supply Chain Management. “The integration of Worldsoft’s Budgeting and Performance Management modules completes our solution offering,” according to Michael Conn.

“We are excited about this partnership with MediSolution and look forward to working with their team and our mutual customers in Canada,” said Bill Samborski, President and CEO, Worldsoft. Development is now under way to address the Ontario case costing initiative with an integrated patient activity costing module.
