MediSolution acquires Ottawa-based Emerald Health

TORONTO – MediSolution, a leading provider of ERP software solutions and services to healthcare and service sector customers, announced it has acquired Emerald Health Information Systems Ltd, of Ottawa. The acquisition was made through MediSolution’s parent company, N. Harris Computer Corp.

Established in 2002, Emerald is a Canadian health informatics company specializing in business intelligence, infection control and surveillance, patient flow and workload software solutions.

Emerald delivers turn-key solutions, including its software applications and implementation and consulting services. The Emerald applications are developed to provide user-friendly, information-rich web user interfaces for decision support, IT, clinical and management teams.
