Cossette to launch new accelerator in Toronto

September 7, 2016

Joe DeeTORONTO – Cossette Health, the health division of Cossette, one of Canada’s leading marketing communications agencies, is now taking applications for the Cossette Lab Health Accelerator in Toronto, building on the success of Cossette Lab launched in Montreal in 2012.

“We have a committed focus to healthcare within Cossette, and this is a chance for us to bring our successful model working with startups into the healthcare vertical,” said Joe Dee (pictured), product and technology lead, who runs Cossette Lab in Toronto.

The qualified health startups will get access to Cossette’s world-class communications expertise, potential opportunities to pitch their products to Canada’s most innovative companies within Cossette’s client roster, as well as access to the organization’s venture capital partnerships. Cossette Health will also be providing complimentary space at the agency office in Liberty Village, in downtown Toronto.

The Cossette Lab Health Accelerator is not a programmed offering – it is a more hands-on approach to building companies. This unique opportunity has been developed for promising healthcare startups, affording them to quickly grow their business with support of Cossette Health’s marketing communications, media and technology expertise. The Cossette Lab Health Accelerator advisors also provide mentorship, consulting services, pilot opportunities and a hands-on product team.

Interested startups are invited to learn about the full list of benefits and submit their applications via the program website. The application deadline is September 15, 2016.
