RL Solution to merge with Datix

Sanjay MalaviyaTORONTO, CHICAGO, and LONDON – RL Solutions and Datix Limited, leading providers of healthcare quality and patient safety software, have announced the merger of the two companies to form a global leader in patient safety, quality and infection prevention.

After a brief transition period through the end of July, Seyed Mortazavi, Datix CEO, will take over chief executive duties of the combined company. Sanjay Malaviya (pictured), RL’s founder and CEO, will become executive chairman of the board.

Seyed and Sanjay will work together closely to ensure a smooth transition of duties so that mission critical work can continue to be delivered for clients around the world.

In addition to bringing products to market faster, the joining of the companies will lead to more innovative solutions, enhanced services and support for clients, as well as delivery on a global scale.

The combined company will also contain the largest repository of patient safety data in the world, enabling the creation of data-driven insights for healthcare stakeholders across the continuum of care.
