Cameron Love new CEO of The Ottawa Hospital

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Hospital Board of Governors is delighted to welcome Cameron Love (pictured) as the hospital’s new president and CEO. Cameron was unanimously appointed by the Board after a comprehensive search that was international in scope.
Cameron has already dedicated much of his life to making The Ottawa Hospital one of the best healthcare institutions in the country. In a career that has spanned more than 20 years with the organization; he has shown strong leadership and an unwavering commitment to the mandate of the hospital to pursue excellence in patient care, research and education.
Prior to becoming CEO, Cameron served as the hospital’s executive vice-president and chief operating officer, giving him an unparalleled understanding of the hospital’s strategic priorities and its day-to-day operations. He has held several other leadership roles within the hospital, including oversight of the planning and building of the Critical Care Wing at the General Campus.
Cameron will now oversee the TOH team in the development and construction of a new 21st-century hospital campus to replace the Civic site. This will be one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Ottawa’s history.
Cameron has shown an exceptional ability to motivate and inspire teams under the common vision of providing each patient with the world-class care, exceptional service and compassion that we would want for a loved one. He has the full confidence of the Board and will continue to motivate and inspire the leadership team and hospital staff to deliver on that vision.
