Gain a certificate in health data analytics

December 9, 2020

Trevor StromeWATERLOO, Ont. – The Data Analytics I: Operational Analytics for Quality & Performance Improvement certificate program will provide executives, managers, analysts, and other stakeholders with the essential information needed to fully leverage the power of the data within their healthcare organizations. The goal is to provide decision-makers with the knowledge and tools to immediately improve analytics effectiveness and return-on-investment within your organization, branch, department, or unit.

The sessions consist of a mixture of live and recorded webinars. Offered through McMaster University and NIHI, they will cover how to synthesize data from source systems and combine it with proven Quality Improvement (QI) methodologies, well-defined quality and performance goals, and powerful analytical methods.

This 8 session (13 Hours) certificate program is for anyone who is responsible for managing, developing, or using analytics within their organization, or is interested in being part of their organization’s analytics team.

  • Demonstrate that analytics must be thought of as a “system” (with specific inputs and outputs) if real organizational transformation and return on investment is to be achieved.
