Gevity announces re-alignment of leadership
April 21, 2021
TORONTO – Gevity announced that it has re-organized the responsibilities of its leadership team. Effective immediately Mr. Leon Salvail, co-founder of Gevity’s earliest predecessor firm, Global Village Consulting Inc., will take on the role of chief operating officer and chief financial officer, while retaining the role of president. Mr. Marc Koehn (pictured), co-founder of Gordon Point Informatics Ltd, a firm acquired by Gevity in 2013, will take on the role of chief executive officer.
This realignment will further the pursuit of the team’s long-term vision to be recognized as a leading global professional services firm that helps its clients enable a healthier world.
Over the past year, Gevity has leveraged its extensive public health and epidemiological expertise to assist clients across a wide range of COVID-19 pandemic response projects, including risk modelling, analytics strategy development and operational support, contact tracing solution implementations, biologics effectiveness analysis, and strategic procurement advisory among other things.
“Building on these strengths, as well as our core competencies in strategic advisory, project management, clinical application implementation, and global-class FHIR and terminology expertise, our professional services team is well positioned to continue expanding our service and client portfolio, here in North America as well as in key global markets”, said Mr. Salvail. “Marc Koehn will bring a fresh vision and leadership, and I look forward to continuing to work with Marc as Gevity builds on the platform that we have created over the past 26 years.”
“We are proud that Gevity offers a more focused alternative to clients accustomed to working with the cross-industry consulting divisions of Big-5 accounting firms,” added Mr. Koehn, “Gevity’s core specialization in health, social services and life sciences as well as our North American and international operations network enables us to deliver expertise fully attuned to our clients’ local operating cultures while being informed by our broad, global perspective.”
One of Canada’s largest health and social services focused consulting firms, Gevity Consulting offers professional services in both of Canada’s official languages to clients seeking sustainable and effective healthcare, social services, and life sciences solutions. From strategic planning to systems integration to benefits evaluation, Gevity consultants work with clients to design solutions, develop systems, and deliver results.
