New president, directors, at Digital Health Canada

TORONTO – The results of the Digital Health Canada Board of Directors election were announced last week at the association’s Annual General Meeting, held virtually. 15 candidates stood for election to six open positions; 682 votes were cast to elect the following members to the Board of Directors:
- Raza Abidi, Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia (returning)
- Shy Amlani, AHS, Alberta (new)
- Chris Carvalho, Carveira Group Consulting, Alberta and British Columbia (new)
- Cassie Frazer, Canada Health Infoway, Ontario (returning)
- Blair White, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador (returning)
- Julia Zarb, University of Toronto, Ontario (new)
Immediately following the virtual Annual General Meeting was the first meeting of the new Board of Directors, at which board members elected Cassie Frazer (pictured) as president, Blair White as vice-president, and newly elected member Chris Carvalho as secretary-treasurer.
