August 3, 2022
MORRISVILLE, N.C. – Ascom, a healthcare IT and clinical collaboration company, announced that it is expanding its channel partner network in Canada to better serve acute care customers in the areas surrounding Montreal. This channel partner agreement with Services LC Connect expands Ascom’s coverage in Canada to provide full partner coverage to each province for hospital systems nurse call, intelligent software, and handsets.
According to a recent report by Technavio, the nurse call systems market size is expected to increase by US $536.11 million, at a CAGR of 12.32% from 2021 to 2026. It attributes 36% of the market’s growth originating from North America during the forecast period and as outpacing Europe and the rest of the world. Of the factors contributing to the double-digit growth are an increase in incidences of chronic conditions and surgical cases, availability of nurse call vendors, and availability of reimbursement for purchases of these type systems1.
As a channel partner, Services LC Connect will have access to sell Ascom’s full portfolio of nurse call, intelligent software, and handsets, supporting Ascom’s clinical collaboration workflow solution-driven approach to improving patient care. This includes products like Telligence nurse call for point of care technology, the Unite workflow orchestration platform for optimizing workflows, and the Myco3 smartphone for empowering nurse communication and collaboration.
“Our relationship comes from Services LC Connect’s ability to develop and maintain solid healthcare customer relationships and unparalleled service excellence in the Quebec market,” said Shelly Annette Bond (pictured), vice president and sales development, Canada, Ascom Americas. “With 55 combined years of experience installing Ascom solutions, Services LC Connect is a strong partner to accelerate Ascom solutions across Canada.”
“As acute care systems experience change with aging populations, nursing staff turnover, and more unpredictability in general, technology is providing an essential way to do more with less,” said Patrick Hamelin, president, Services LC Connect. “Ascom’s integrated solutions give customers the necessary tool to combat these challenges, whether it’s a complete workflow solution or products that interoperate with existing hospital infrastructure.”
