September 28, 2022
BRAMPTON, Ont. – Medtronic is pleased to announce that Sheri Dodd (pictured) has been appointed president of Medtronic Canada, leading the Canadian commercial operations for the world’s largest medical device company.
Throughout her 12-year Medtronic tenure, Dodd has served in senior- and executive-level roles in the company’s clinical, health economics, and reimbursement businesses before most recently leading the Medtronic Care Management Services (MCMS) home remote patient monitoring business.
Through her strategic leadership, Dodd facilitated early entry into value-based healthcare programs with payers and led the team to serve one of the largest telehealth programs in North America. During the pandemic, she led the development and launch of COVID-19 symptom monitoring programs for patients and employees.
Prior to joining Medtronic, Dodd spent 13 years at Johnson & Johnson and five years at the World Health Organization. She holds master’s degrees in health economics and epidemiology from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Dodd succeeds Neil D. Fraser, who announced his retirement in July, after 38 years of service to the global technology company.
