How to access regional digital health strategies

November 23, 2022

Mark CasselmanTORONTO – Digital Health Canada has unveiled the first phase of a new online resource of available provincial and territorial digital health strategies from across Canada. This free resource gives digital health professionals a single point of reference for access to regional strategic plans and priorities.

“The concept is straightforward – collect existing digital health strategy reports from across Canada in one place,” said Mark Casselman (pictured), CEO, Digital Health Canada. “But the hope is that this new resource will act as a catalyst for important discussions about inter-provincial collaboration, national digital health strategy alignment, and the healthcare digital transformation we need.”

The initiative fulfills one of Digital Health Canada’s strategic priorities to be a trusted source for learning and knowledge sharing and to co-create, share, and consolidate knowledge for easy consumption and application.

Content will be sourced and maintained by Digital Health Canada with support from the subject matter experts and health sector leaders who make up the membership of the CHIEF Executive Forum.

A planned 2023 phase two roll-out will include regional government contact information and behind-the-scenes reports of strategy status for CHIEF Executive Forum members.
