May 24, 2023
HAMILTON, Ont. – St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton welcomes interim president, John Aldis (pictured), as of May 19. Since joining St. Joe’s in 2020 as senior vice president, Finance and Corporate Services, John has led the finance, risk management, supply chain, facility planning, and patient support services portfolios.
As St. Joe’s welcomes John to his new position of incoming interim president, the hospital continues actions to support its post-pandemic journey.
“Like all hospitals, St. Joe’s continues to adjust and recover from the impact of the pandemic and respond to the increased demands on our healthcare system today. Through healing and rebuilding, we believe St. Joe’s will come out even stronger than we were before – a credit to the unwavering commitment of our staff to our mission of serving those in need,” said Mr. Aldis.
“We are pleased to have John onboard in this interim role and know that his extensive knowledge and expertise will help guide St. Joe’s through this next phase,” said Elizabeth Buller, president and CEO St. Joseph’s Health System.
Prior to working at St. Joseph’s, Aldis was executive vice president at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, vice president, information services and chief financial officer at North York General Hospital, and vice president, corporate and clinical services at Rouge Valley Health System.
