New micro courses on leadership in healthcare and clinical care

WATERLOO and HAMILTON, Ont. – The National Institutes of Health Informatics and McMaster University Continuing Education are offering new micro-courses for healthcare professionals, beginning this fall, 2024. They are: “Cybersecurity for Privacy Professionals”, “Leadership in Healthcare: Learning to Lead, ” “Data Governance in Healthcare,” “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare,” and “ROI Thinking in Healthcare.” The courses are available online.
Cybersecurity for Privacy Professionals
The purpose of this program is to provide practical cybersecurity management strategies and recommendations to help minimize the occurrence or impact of cyber-related losses. It will focus on risk management – identification, management and mitigation of risks – and how to use the various tools and resources to build awareness and cyber resilience.
