Marie-Eve Desrosiers to lead Montreal’s CHUM

MONTREAL – CHUM has announced the appointment of Marie-Eve Desrosiers (pictured) to the position of president and CEO. Ms. Desrosiers has nearly 20 years of experience in the health and social services network, where she has worked in the areas of communications, organizational development, training, partnerships and network coordination.
Over the course of her career, she has developed multiple areas of expertise, particularly in the optimization of care trajectories, improving fluidity, and implementing organizational and systemic changes, including technological changes related to the use of telehealth.
Ms. Desrosiers has been working at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) since 2016. She led the establishment of the Network Flow Optimization Center (COFR) and the Intensive Care Bed Occupancy Optimization Center (COOLSI). As associate president and CEO, she worked on the CHUM’s strategic positioning, as well as on the clinical-academic level and a new vision on ambulatory care.
Ms. Desrosiers holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in health administration from the Université de Montréal and a graduate microprogram in health process performance improvement from HEC Montréal. Her academic background, her previous experiences, her leadership and her human qualities make her the person of choice to meet the challenges that the CHUM will have to face in the coming years, with our teams, at the service of patients, our organization, and our organization.
