Digital Health award winners announced at e-Health25

TORONTO – Digital Health Canada Award winners were announced at the e-Health 2025 Conference and Tradeshow, held this year in Toronto from June 1–3. Digital Health Canada annually offers awards in six categories – Digital Health Executive of the Year; Digital Health Leader of the Year; Clinical Innovator of the Year; Community Care Leader of the Year; Emerging Leader of the Year; and StartUp Innovator of the Year – as well as the Steven Huesing Scholarship.

Here are this year’s winners:

• 2025 Digital Health Leader of the Year – Carolyn Steele Gray (pictured), senior investigator, Science of Care Institute, Sinai Health.
• 2025 Digital Health Executive of the Year – Lynda Brown-Ganzert, chief executive officer, RxPx.
• 2025 Clinical Innovator of the Year – Dr. Scott Laing, family physician, Centre for Family Medicine Family Health Team
• 2025 Community Care Leader of the Year – Tricia Wilkerson, director, Integrated Care, Amplify Care (formerly eHealth Centre of Excellence).
• 2025 Emerging Leader of the Year – Venkat Bhat, director, Interventional Psychiatry, University of Toronto.
• 2025 Start-up Innovator of the Year – Joon Chung, professor, CTO & co-founder, Veyond Metaverse Inc.
• 2025 Steven Huesing Scholarship – David Mikhail, University of Toronto.
• 2025 Steven Huesing Scholarship – Kelvin Yam, University of Toronto.
