Innovation challenge for aging well offers cash prizes

MARKHAM, Ont. – SE Health announced that the The Chrysalis Innovation Challenge 2025 has officially launched. This national pitch competition, hosted by SE Health, invites innovative solutions that address health and well-being. The theme this year, Reimagining Well-being through Innovation, Impact, and Investment, calls for ideas that help Canadians live well, age well, and be cared for well.
With over $50,000 in cash prizes, finalists will gain access to exclusive investor networking opportunities during the Pitch Event and connect with a vibrant community of innovators, investors and leaders advancing Canadian innovation.

- Application Period: Open until January 9, 2026
- Virtual Q&A and Pre-Pitch Workshop: December 3, 2025 | 1 – 2 PM EST

Who Should Apply:
- Organizations, start-ups, and individuals with early-traction to later-stage/established solutions addressing at least one of the Challenge themes
- Applicants from research, academic, creative, healthcare, or other sectors are welcome
- Innovators looking to scale their impact and connect with investors, partners, and national visibility
- Canadian teams or teams with intent to pilot/partner in Canada
Cash prizes:
- Winner: $30,000
- Two Runner-Ups: $10,000 each
- People’s Choice Award: $1,000
