Infoway launches digital conformance platform
November 19, 2025
TORONTO – Canada Health Infoway announced the launch of the Pan-Canadian Conformance Platform, a national service that enables vendors and jurisdictions to test and verify their digital health solutions against pan-Canadian interoperability specifications.
The Platform provides the technical foundation for Infoway’s National Conformance Program and ensures that digital health solutions meet consistent standards for interoperability and data exchange. By replacing fragmented, manual testing with a centralized environment, the Platform streamlines validation, reduces duplication within and across jurisdictions, and accelerates the adoption of interoperable, high-quality digital health solutions.
By aligning with the Shared Pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap, the Platform strengthens national consistency in how health systems adopt and implement health data specifications. Vendors can validate solutions more effectively and efficiently while ensuring compliance with interoperability standards, and jurisdictions benefit from reduced integration risks, improved assurance in solution quality, and a clearer path toward seamless data exchange.
“The Pan-Canadian Conformance Platform is a game-changer for Canada’s digital health ecosystem,” said Andrew Liu (pictured), vice president, architecture, delivery and conformance at Canada Health Infoway. “It gives vendors and governments a common foundation to test and trust their digital health solutions, helping information flow securely across systems and care settings. This strengthens confidence, drives innovation, and moves us closer to a truly connected, patient-centred health system for all Canadians.”
The launch will give users access to the Platform, which offers core conformance testing capabilities, automated validation, and real-time reporting. Additional features, such as bilingual access, enhanced analytics, and self-service onboarding, will be introduced in the new year to further expand functionality and enhance the user experience.
Individuals and organizations can now sign up for Infoway’s informational webinar and express interest in registering for the Platform. The webinar will provide an overview of available features, registration process, and onboarding guidance. Following the webinar, registered participants will be granted access to the Platform.
