Kindly supports those caring for aging loved ones

March 11, 2026

Logan GibsonVANCOUVER – Kindly, a Canadian-founded technology company supporting families with aging loved ones, has announced the national launch of its care navigation platform. Backed by the founders and leaders of TD Innovation Partners, Felix Health and Halo Health, Kindly combines human care expertise with AI-powered technology to deliver personalized support for families and those in the “sandwich generation.”

Skip, Wealthsimple, Flipp, and Inovia Capital are among the first employers offering Kindly’s platform as a benefit to their teams. Kindly’s early traction points to clear demand, with more than 3,000 employees already having access to the platform. Kindly plans to scale to 50 employer partners covering 100,000 employees by the end of 2026, supported by a growing national care team of 14 care experts across the country.

Over six million Canadians (35 percent) are currently juggling their full-time jobs with caregiving responsibilities. Until now, support has been limited and fragmented, leaving families to navigate complex systems on their own.

“Today, families are the default care navigators, usually with no training, no roadmap, and no time,” said Logan Gibson (pictured), founder and CEO of Kindly. “We built Kindly so Canadians don’t have to choose between caring for their loved ones and showing up at work. Our care experts, combined with AI-powered technology, work together to guide families through the system, so they can spend less time on paperwork and phone calls, and more time actually being with the people they love.”

Diana McLachlan, CPO at Wealthsimple, explained why the company adopted the platform. “We talk a lot about building a workplace where people can do the best work of their lives. That only happens when they feel supported as humans. Caregiving is one of the heaviest things people carry quietly, and Kindly gives them real, practical help when they need it most.”

Skip has also validated caregiving as an essential corporate benefit. “Following recent enhancements to our fertility, mental health, and menopause support, Kindly was the natural next step in Skip’s mission to provide industry-leading, holistic care for our employees,” said Cailey Brown, head of HR, Canada at Skip. “As a Canadian-founded company, we’re proud to partner with a fellow Canadian-founded business to address the real, diverse needs of our workforce.

This isn’t only about adding a benefit but providing the peace of mind and tangible support our people need to navigate life’s challenges, including caring for aging parents, with confidence.”

One early user, Wendy Salisko, 44, faced the challenge firsthand while managing a toddler and launching a business. “Kindly finally made me feel understood,” said Salisko. “Their highly experienced team of care experts handles the work behind the scenes and plans every step, so we don’t have to figure it out ourselves. Access to better care like this should be standard.”

Kindly provides a one-stop solution for families navigating aging and care, offering ongoing check-ins to assess needs and progress, 1:1 support from licensed care experts, and personalized care plans that give families a clear, practical roadmap forward.

Kindly operates nationally, combining human care expertise with technology to deliver personalized support that adapts to local, provincial systems. The platform is available both as an employer-backed, insurance-covered benefit and independently for families seeking guidance.

About Kindly

Kindly is a Canadian care navigation platform that supports families who are caring for aging loved ones. Combining licensed care experts with AI-powered technology, Kindly creates personalized care plans, coordinates next steps, and reduces the administrative and emotional burden on families. Too often, families don’t think about care planning until they’re already in crisis; Kindly helps bridge that gap by offering proactive guidance from licensed care experts. Offered as an employer-backed benefit at participating organizations, Kindly helps Canadians stay present at work while navigating some of life’s most challenging moments, with additional access available for families seeking support independently. Kindly operates nationally across Canada with care experts in multiple provinces and works with employers to integrate caregiving support into their broader well-being strategies.
