Share feedback on the Physician Engagement Guidelines
August 5, 2026
OTTAWA – The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) has developed Physician Engagement Guidelines to support industry, government and other organizations in designing tools and solutions for – and with – physicians. We are looking for five (5) organizations to share feedback on the draft guidelines.
The guidelines address a common challenge: Healthcare solutions are often developed without meaningful physician involvement, resulting in tools, processes and initiatives that are poorly aligned with clinical workflows, increase administrative burden and are difficult to adopt or scale – limiting physicians’ ability to provide high-quality care at a time when millions of people struggle to access it.
These draft guidelines were informed by consultations with physicians, medical learners and industry partners.
We are offering a $250 honorarium to review and share your input. Participants will review the guidelines and complete an online form. It should take no more than an hour.
Please email yourvoice@cma.ca by Fri. Aug. 14, if you are interested in participating.
