Leadership

September 23, 2026
TORONTO – Canada’s healthcare innovators are being invited to share their stories for a Canadian edition of Voices of Innovation, the healthcare innovation series created by author and industry leader Ed Marx, CEO, Marx Advisory Healthcare Executive, a best-selling author and editor.
Voices of Innovation Canada is now officially accepting submissions from healthcare organizations, clinicians, researchers, technology leaders, entrepreneurs and others who have implemented innovations that are improving healthcare across the country.
The Canadian edition is being developed in collaboration with Ed Marx and a Canadian editorial team including Glenn Lanteigne (pictured), CEO of Tectonic, Robyn Fulkerson, COO of Tectonic and Sakshika Dhingra, clinical operations director, Humana and Healthcare leader, author and editor
The goal is to identify practical examples of innovation that have moved beyond ideas and pilots into real implementation, adoption and measurable impact.
“We know there is extraordinary innovation happening in Canadian healthcare, but many of the best stories never receive national attention,” said Lanteigne. “We want to find those stories, understand what made them successful and share lessons that other healthcare organizations can apply.”
The initiative is seeking examples across a broad range of healthcare transformation, including artificial intelligence, digital health, data and analytics, interoperability, clinical information systems, virtual care, patient and clinician experience, workflow redesign, quality and safety, new models of care, workforce innovation, primary care, rural and northern health, and other areas of health-system improvement.
Particular interest will be given to innovations that can demonstrate implementation experience, measurable outcomes, lessons learned and, where applicable, evidence of spread or scale.
The editorial team is deliberately seeking contributions from across Canada, including community organizations, smaller health systems, academic centres, clinicians, researchers, patients, innovators and organizations whose work may not traditionally receive national exposure.
Submissions are open through October 31, 2026.
