Shannex extends B Care across all sites in Maritimes

TORONTO – B Sharp Technologies, a provider of specialty documentation and complex case management solutions for organizations across the health, social services, and community care ecosystem, is pleased to announce that Shannex, a prominent Home Care, Retirement Living and Long-Term Care services organization in the Maritimes, will be deploying the B Care Senior’s Services Solution to all of its sites across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick after a successful pilot program.

Shannex embarked on a major initiative to integrate information technology into the delivery of client care services and chose B Sharp as their IT partner. The B Care Seniors’ Services Solution provides care professionals with ready access to pertinent client information as well as the tools needed to conduct in-depth assessments that guide the type of services received by clients.

B Sharp initially deployed the B Care Seniors’ Services solution at Maplestone Enhanced Care, a Shannex facility specializing in Geriatric Care. The project’s success set the framework for Shannex to approve the B Care Seniors’ Services solution for use across all of their remaining retirement living and nursing homes sites. Shannex has over 3,000 clients throughout the Maritimes and provides 20 percent of all long-term care beds in Nova Scotia.
