Saint Elizabeth selects AlayaCare as a partner

June 3, 2015

Allyson Kinsley

TORONTO – AlayaCare, a Canadian-based home healthcare software company, has announced an agreement with Saint Elizabeth, a leading national provider of home and community care services. Saint Elizabeth will use AlayaCare’s cloud-based software to support its private home care practice across Canada.

AlayaCare’s SaaS platform provides an integrated solution that combines back office functions such as scheduling, invoicing, and time and attendance, with clinical documentation and a suite of mobile solutions for care workers and family members.

“At Saint Elizabeth, we see our clients as consumers, who expect their home care experience to be convenient, transparent and personalized, in addition to an amazing service,” says Allyson Kinsley (pictured), Senior VP, Strategy, Emerging Products and Brand Experience. “With AlayaCare’s leading edge, flexible technology, we are excited to add its strengths to the delivery of our services to clients, families and the Saint Elizabeth care team.”

Saint Elizabeth and AlayaCare both believe the community care model is undergoing profound change that will see new and innovative technologies being used by care workers, clinicians, patients and families themselves.

Saint Elizabeth anticipates the use of AlayaCare will help to:

  • Manage schedules with ease based on client needs and preferences
  • Capture and share health information with the rest of the care team through a secure platform
  • Allow care workers to spend more time providing hands-on care
  • Enable patients to engage in their own wellness and care, including real-time health monitoring and feedback

“The home care industry requires more collaboration across the continuum of care,” notes Adrian Schauer, CEO of AlayaCare. “The future will see a deeper integration of wearables, remote patient monitoring technology and mobility to support a virtual visit model in addition to face-to-face visits.”

“Saint Elizabeth is the gold standard for home healthcare, and we relish the opportunity to collaborate and bring game-changing applications to market that ultimately improve patient outcomes,” adds Schauer.
