New health terminology standards certificate program

VICTORIA – A new graduate certificate program in Health Terminology Standards is now being offered at the University of Victoria’s School of Health Information Science. The course is intended to help meet national and international needs for best practices in controlled terminology used across the health sciences.

Classes begin September 2017 for this one-year, part-time, blended delivery program (online with some on-campus sessions). Only 26 seats are available for the first cohort. Those who successfully complete this program will be eligible for terminology certification with the Canadian College of Health Information Management.
