HumanaCare acquires Tranqool, a virtual health platform

TORONTO – HumanaCare, a leading provider of employee and member health services, is pleased to announce the acquisition of TranQool, a virtual health platform. “Combining HumanaCare and TranQool drives innovation and employee engagement in our health and wellness solutions,” said Jamie Marcellus (pictured), president of HumanaCare.
“TranQool gives us the opportunity to deliver care virtually, while providing a robust platform to expand access to our existing Employee Assistance Programs, Medical Second Opinion, Disability Support, Caregiving/Healthcare Navigation and Chronic Disease Management Services,” he added.
“The TranQool platform will provide HumanaCare members with chat and video access to counsellors and healthcare professionals. The growing need for online access to health services is a shift that is happening and you’re seeing HumanaCare and TranQool leading the way,” said Saeed Zeinali, co-founder of TranQool.

The transaction closed on May 8th, 2018.
