ForaHealthyMe now on Azure Marketplace

Courtney ColeMARKHAM, Ont. – ForaHealthyMe Intelligent Virtual Care Solutions has announced the availability of its AI-enabled tele-rehab and remote patient monitoring (RPM) solution in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure.

ForaHealthyMe customers can now take advantage of the productive and trusted Azure cloud platform, with streamlined deployment and management.

The ForaHealthyMe platform delivers low-cost, all-in-one comprehensive care tools to address the complex needs of patients with musculoskeletal, cardiology, neurological and cognitive impairment issues, and those in need of treatment due to COVID-19 long-haul issues. Post-COVID-19 patients, including those not admitted to hospital, are expected to have high needs for physical, psychological, and cognitive rehabilitation (long-COVID).

Current treatment models and technology, result in patients having to visit multiple treatment centers or conduct aspects of their care via video. This is inefficient, ineffective, and costly.

Patients can access a suite of applications including mental and physical health assessments, video calls, biometric data-gathering tools, along with educational and gamified virtual learning environments. Azure cloud technology enables video tutorials, data tracking from wearables, range of motion activities and other assessments which can be shared seamlessly and securely across devices.

This gives the healthcare team a holistic view of the patient’s health and allows for informed decision making and comprehensive care planning. The gamified virtual environment is enhanced by Azure Machine Learning algorithms that accurately measure a patient’s functional capability across simple and complex motions during remote rehab and physical therapy sessions.
