Equinoxe acquires SE Health’s Elizz in Quebec

MONTREAL – Equinoxe LifeCare, a leading provider of private homecare services in Quebec since 1998, will acquire the Quebec homecare operations of Elizz, a division of SE Health. This acquisition reinforces Equinoxe’s presence in Quebec as the company enters the next phase of its growth with the recent launch of LifeCare Plus, its care & safety program.

According to the findings of a study on autonomous living conditions for individuals in Quebec, conducted by the Jacques-Parizeau Research Chair (HEC Montreal), if the current support system is maintained until 2040, the province will see a 70% increase in autonomous living support needs, rising from 324,400 individuals requiring care to 547,900.

The care preferences survey confirmed a strong interest in homecare, especially when needs are low to moderate. It is within this context that the present acquisition conducted by Equinoxe will play an important role in the current and future needs of Quebec society.
