NiHi logo [eNews]WATERLOO and HAMILTON, Ont. – The National Institutes of Health Informatics and McMaster University Continuing Education are offering new micro-courses for healthcare professionals, beginning fall 2025 including “Cybersecurity for Privacy Professionals.”

Cybersecurity for Privacy Professionals
13 Sessions: 3 Live, Interactive, Online, 10 Recorded.
Mondays, Oct. 22, Nov. 10 & 24, 2025, 12:00 – 1:30 PM ET
Public and private sector organizations in Canada and around the world are under increasing pressure to protect themselves, sensitive information, client information and critical infrastructure from cyber attacks. Threats to information system assets come from state actors, organized crime and hacktivists who now routinely attack our electoral, financial, healthcare and public utility systems.

The purpose of this program is to provide practical cybersecurity management strategies and recommendations to help minimize the occurrence or impact of cyber-related losses.
