FREDERICTON, N.B. – An adjudicator has awarded Dr. John Dornan (pictured), the former president and CEO of Horizon Health Network, about $2 million, which his lawyers say is the largest employment compensation award in the province’s history. Dornan, 63, said he was fired as president and CEO of Horizon during a phone call that lasted less than a minute, while on his way to the Fredericton news conference where his termination was announced.
